Traffic information

Dalin Tzu Chi Hospital is conveniently located in northern Chiayi County. Use this information to help you plan your trip to the hospital: 
 

  • Driving: The hospital is on Route 162, which links the Dalin interchange on National Freeway 1 and the Meishn interchnge on National Freeway 3. Route 162 also connects Provincial Highway 1 and Provincial Highway 3. Rarely do drivers on Route 162 experience a traffic jam.
  • Railway: More than 90 trains stop at Dalin Station every day. The hospital is near the rail station. Shuttle buses travel between the two points.
  • Bus: More than 80 local buses come by Dalin every day. During the day, 70% of them stop right in front of the hospital. More than 160 highway buses from three companies travel between Chiayi and Taipei by way of Dalin each day.
  • The hospital offers 21 chartered bus routes to take patiens from Changhua, Nantou, Yunlin, Chiayi, and Tainan to the hospital.
  • Taxi: Dial extensions 8119 or 8110 and our security guard will call a cab for you.

Traffic information

Most international patients take Taiwan High Speed Rail from Taoyuan to Yunlin or Chiayi (with more frequent service) and then take a taxi to the hospital.  

Fares for High Speed Rail: 
Taoyuan – Yunlin $780/one way 
Taoyuan – Chiayi $920/one way
